Food/Fitness Experiences
One of the biggest problems I’m having with my thesis research is trying to determine the “experience” I intend and the form it might take. This week, I’m sketching out some possible experiences to find something that resonates for me as a potential form for my project.

A system that uses the items you shop for (via supermarket club cards) to review your purchases and help plan meals, recipes, and makes suggestions for how to improve your shopping for healthier options.

An app that helps eliminate toxic foods from your diet. Choose 1 thing, like soda, white bread, processed snacks, etc. and set goals for eliminating one thing at a time.

A system for creating local food clubs among your friends, family, and neighbors to help with the burden of cooking every day.

A toy that senses food choices that mimic a child’s choices, and helps encourage heathier eating

A food passport, allowing family members to try new things and experience rewards for doing it.

An app that pairs personal trainers with workout programs to help people add fitness routines to their schedules.

An interface to help decode the confusing aspects of the USDA food pyramid.
